About Us
Diving on La Palma is our Passion.
Buceo Sub La Palma was started in 2001 by Jürgen and Manuela, who after 7 years living in the Canary Islands and diving on all the islands, decided to settle on La Palma. The dive centre was opened in Los Cancajos, a small tourism village on the east coast of the island with excellent connections to the rest of the island. Through the years we have built strong relationships not just with local divers, but also with people who live on the mainland and who return every year to enjoy La Palma's unique diving.

In 2020 Jürgen sadly passed away and in 2021, the dive centre was sold to a group of friends who shares the passion and love for diving on La Palma. As new owners, they continue to build on the legacy created during the last 20 years where we value a service that makes our guests feel that when they leave, they are already thinking of coming back.
Our facilities
Our new shop offers a relaxed environment where our friendly staff can discuss your personal requirements - or you can simply browse through our small range of snorkelling, scuba diving and other equipment or accessories for sale. We also have a well-equipped workshop for small repairs and offer air refills up to 200 Bar for divers with their own cylinders.

Our prices include full equipment rental and our equipment room offers a clean, dry and warm space to fit and size your equipment. All our equipment is serviced regularly to ensure comfort and safety, but if you prefer bringing your own equipment, we have plenty of space for you to store it while you are diving with us.

At Buceo Sub we all have one thing in common - to share our love for diving and the underwater world with others.
This small dedicated team have excellent knowledge of local diving conditions. and using their experience gained from working as instructors and divemasters in other parts of the world, our guests receive the best advice of how to adapt to local conditions no matter where they have dived before.
Marco
Owner and Instructor
Marco is a PADI Isntructor and has been diving since 2007. Born in Italy, most of his diving was done in the Medeterraniean where he worked as a diving instructor.
